"TLC" Day: Teens Lend A Caring Hand
SAVE THE DATE - First Sunday in November.
Helping others is a beautiful feeling and an important Jewish value. Through our TLC Day event, each year we invite students in grades 7-12 to help our senior adults and our community by:
- Turning back their clocks as Daylight Savings Time ends
- Changing batteries in fire alarms
- Raking leaves
- Performing other small jobs
- Cleaning up Elmwood Cemetery
Volunteers, adults and students, are needed to help in the planning and preparation of the event, as well as to serve as drivers.
