$5,400 provides a Jewish burial for our community members who cannot afford one.
$3,600 will enable CJFS to help a family in crisis put their lives back together by providing counseling, direct financial assistance, referrals to community resources and emotional support…whatever is needed.
$1,800 will subsidize counseling sessions for one year for a single parent and family struggling with depression and unemployment.
$720 will allow a frail, elderly person to remain in their home by providing bathing assistance and light housekeeping twice a week for 3 months through our Personal Care/Homemaker program.
$360 will provide one month of managed care by a CJFS social worker for frail, elderly person with no family or other outside support.
$180 will provide food certificates to purchase perishable goods for one month for a family of four.
$54 will provide escorted transportation for an elderly person to the doctor, the grocery story, a J.O.Y. Club activity, or wherever s/he wants to go...and back.
