Shabbat Service at Brookdale Place Reminder Phone Calls to Residents -- Shabbat service for Brookdale residents and families held the third Friday of every month at 2:00PM .This month’s service will be led by Rabbi Ira Flax on August 19th .Brookdale Place is located at 400 University Park Drive, off of Lakeshore Blvd. Click here for more information on the program.

TLC Day(Teens Lend a Caring Hand) -- TLC Day is Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 12pm-4pm! CJFS needs volunteers of ALL AGES to help plan and participate with this event! Teens and adult volunteers will visit retirement communities as well as individual homes perform such needed tasks as flipping mattresses, changing smoke alarm batteries and raking leaves . Friendly Visitors Needed! -- Become a Friendly Visitor and be partnered with a senior citizen in need of friendship and companionship. Currently, there are two ladies who are in need of some company from time to time. Hours are flexible and the rewards are great.
